Respecting your confidentiality has been in our mind since the creation of Chid’art, we wanted to offer you our services while keeping a set of confidentiality principles.

Chid’art provides, among other things, audio / video distribution, messaging, internet calling, live streaming and other services around the world. This privacy policy helps us explain our practices relating to information (including messages and chids). We show you as examples the information we can collect and its impact on you. We also explain the measures we take to protect the privacy of your personal information, such as designing Chid’art so that certain information like messages and chids are not stored and giving you control over what you use on our services.

Informations we collect

When operating or providing our services, Chid’art collects certain information when you install, use or access them.

Informations you provide

  • Informations relating to your account: For the creation of your account, you provide your active phone number, a name, a brief description, a profile picture, a date of birth and your current city (Usually retrieved by geolocation. By this same way, you also enter your country). You regularly provide us with phone numbers in your phone's address book, including those of people who use our Services and your other contacts. You confirm that you are authorized to provide these numbers to us.
  • Live Streaming: During the normal provision of our services, the storage of your live streaming is not activated without your consent and is therefore deleted immediately after the end of the direct session. If you agree to its storage, we keep it for 30 days and then delete it.
  • Your publications Chids: We do not keep your chids during the provision of our services in normal times. We only store them if the deadline has not yet expired. Once the latter is, the chid is directly deleted from our servers, you can also delete it before 24 hours. We keep the chid for 24 hours in time and up to 72 hours in the event of a boost.
  • Your messages: Your messages are not kept during the provision of our current services. They (photos, videos, voice, moving images, stickers, etc.) the Medias are transmitted to recipients, they are deleted from our servers. Your messages are stored on your own device. If a message cannot be transmitted immediately (if offline), we keep it on our servers for up to 30 days to try to transmit it. If a message is still not delivered after 30 days, we delete it. We offer end-to-end encryption for this service.
  • Your connections: In order to want to connect you, we can create a contact list based on the information provided during registration. You can also create or be added to groups and these are associated with your account information. You can also get in touch with other users by searching or scanning the QR code. You can also subscribe to a user account to get in touch with it (receive its chid publications and / or messages).
  • User support: To ensure quality support, you may provide us with information about your use of our Services, including copies of your messages or chids, and how we may contact you to provide you with appropriate user support.   • Deleting your account: You can delete your Chid'art account at any time (especially if you want to reverse your acceptance of our use of your information) using our in-app account deletion functionality. When you delete your Chid'art account, your undelivered messages, your unpublished chids, your subscriptions and subscribers are deleted from our servers as well as any other information relating to your account which we no longer need to operate and provide our services. Please be aware that if you delete our services from your device without using the built-in account deletion feature, we may store your information for longer. Remember that deleting your account does not affect the information other people have about you, such as copies of messages you sent them, or chids pinned to those who have it. will have done.
